Susan Lynne Maring, DDS

Dr. Susan L. Maring specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and in cosmetic periodontal procedures. Her experience includes more than two decades in the treatment and management of periodontal diseases.
Dr. Maring received her bachelor of science degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then continued at UCLA earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, Dr. Maring completed two additional post-doctoral residencies, both at the West Los Angeles Wadsworth VA, and in conjunction with UCLA. The first residency was in General Practice and Hospital Dentistry and the second was in Periodontics earning a Certificate in Periodontal Surgery.
After the completion of her residencies, she continued to teach part time at UCLA while entering into private practice in both Santa Monica and Palos Verdes. As a part time faculty member, she lectured at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Department of Hospital Dentistry and was an attending dentist in the UCLA General Practice Residency program. Dr. Maring has been humbled to have been consistently selected by her colleagues as “Seattle’s Top Dentist in Periodontics” with Seattle Met Magazine.
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Maring was delighted to relocate to the beautiful northwest. She loves boating with her family and spending time in the mountains. Her other interests revolve around keeping up with her two college graduated daughters and very active husband.
