Robert E. Johnson, DMD, MD
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Robert E. Johnson, DMD, MD is a third-generation dentist. His family has been providing compassionate oral surgery care to Seattle for over 80 years, a tradition he is proud to continue. He has had the honor of training at over a dozen hospitals from leaders in the field including at Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Swedish Medical Center, and the Puget Sound Veteran Affairs Hospital.
Dr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington before moving to Boston, MA to pursue his dental school training at Tufts University, where he met his wife who now practices in Kirkland. He then returned to the University of Washington where he completed medical school, a general surgery internship, and residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His surgical training was extensive focusing on dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) treatment, head and neck cancer and benign pathology, and anesthesia.
He and his wife live with their rescue dog, JoJo, and their son on a floating home in Eastlake. When they aren’t talking dentistry, they enjoy spending time on the water and in the mountains as well as back east near Stevie’s childhood home in Philadelphia.
